An Introduction To Songwriting

This four week “Introduction To Songwriting“ course, led by Stu Hanna, is a first step in learning some of the basics of Songwriting.
Stu Hanna has been writing and performing his songs across the world for the last 20 years. An accomplished songwriter, producer, mixer and performer he has worked with acts as diverse as Busted, Steeleye Span, A1, Chris Wood & Show of Hands.  He has co-written songs released on many major labels and had his songs broadcast across BBC Radio1, Radio 2, Radio 3 and BBC 6 Music. As one half of critically acclaimed duo Megson he has been nominated 4 times in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and described as being “amongst the upper echelon of Brit Folk Songwriters” by MOJO Magazine.
Stu will teach you some techniques and fundamental songwriting tips to help you be a better writer.

E. Songwriting Exercises 
F. Getting Your Songs Heard & Working With Others
We will analyse some famous songs, discover some hidden gems & invite others to share their songs and ideas.
Open to all ages and to anyone with an interest in songwriting, novice to advanced.
