Conducting for All

with Alan Tongue

Join Alan Tongue for an introductory day into the world of conducting. Cover the basics in the morning with Alan and a pianist then work with a small String Orchestra in the afternoon. No prior experience is necessary

Alan Tongue studied in Italy under Sergu Celibidache and has enjoyed taking English music around the world. He conducted the Argentinian premier of Walton's Belshazzar's Feast and the Hungarian premier of Elagar's The Dream of Gerontius. His most recent three CDs of previously unrecorded music by Vaughan Williams have attracted much attention.
