ACE Natural History Tour director Kevin Hand has been leading nature walks around Bury Farm for a number of years. These informal countryside walks explore the sights and sounds of nature, including spring flowers, the songs of nesting birds, signs of mammals and even a few wild edibles!
The walk will start and finish at Stapleford Granary. These walks are very popular so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Kevin Hand is a conservationist and ornithologist; he has led a Darwin Initiative project on the Taiga forests in Siberia with the Tree Council, the British Trust for Ornithology, the Forestry Commission and Tradecraft. He has carried out extensive fieldwork for the Cambridge Wildlife Trust, and organizes and runs wildlife tours throughout Europe and across the Globe.
