Now in its third term, the Stapleford Clarinet Choir continues to meet four times a term. Stephanie Reeve directs rehearsals focusing on ensemble skills, technique and sight-reading. Players will have the opportunity to try other members of the clarinet family such as the E flat clarinet, bass and contrabass clarinet, whilst a wide variety of repertoire will be chosen from the Clarinet & Saxophone Society Library housed at Stapleford Granary. An informal performance will be given at the end of the last of the four sessions, starting at 20.00.
Instrument and minimum grade: Open to clarinet players of all ages, from grade 5 to diploma.
Tutors: Stephanie Reeve
Stephanie Reeve studied at Trinity College of Music and is now established in Cambridgeshire as a woodwind teacher, ensemble director and chamber music coach. She performs regularly on all members of the clarinet family and is a feature writer and reviewer for the Clarinet & Saxophone Society magazine.
