Stapleford Granary

About Stapleford Granary

Stapleford Granary is an inspiring space in South Cambridgeshire providing educational activities for all ages. We host concerts and music workshops, and a diverse range of lectures and art courses in a range of disciplines.

Stapleford Granary is the home of the ACE Foundation, our parent charity, which aims to support cultural and international understanding. The converted farm buildings provide the perfect setting for shared educational and cultural pursuits.

Our emphasis is on learning through participation and we seek to provide courses for all ages and abilities.

During the first phase of works, the beautiful 19th century farm buildings were lovingly restored and converted into a study centre for music, the arts and culture. The former Granary has been transformed, with an excellent acoustic enhanced by the Douglas fir flooring and local gault brick walls, and makes a wonderful recital and lecture hall. The first phase also includes office space for the Foundation and subsidiary company ACE Cultural Tours as well as recording facilities and seminar rooms.

Phase two has recently been completed and provides enhanced visitor facilities, a main reception, additional creative areas for music and art, office space, and landscaping.

The tranquility of the site, together with its accessibility, make it the ideal venue for those wishing to escape the hectic rush of the everyday in order to develop and learn. It’s a place where anyone with artistic or cultural interests, from beginner to expert, will feel at home and we hope to welcome you here soon.
